Faculty Testimonials

The Saudi INTERLINK program has the unique feature of igniting creativity and potential in those students who are eager to achieve and succeed. I have seen this over and over throughout my long years of service. I have the great pleasure, and honor, to help students along this path, and I see how they grow and evolve. I am especially proud of those students I trained to participate in a GCC level public speaking competition in Dubai and feel so much professionally fulfilled to see how they win first place prizes in a competition that brings together students from top universities in the GCC countries.

My time at INTERLINK thus far has been nothing short of remarkable. From landing in Riyadh until now, I have only been met with efficiency, professionalism, and utmost care. This extends to the classroom where INTERLINK has outstanding and highly qualified instructors – experts in the field of English language teaching – who use their knowledge to inspire confidence within the students and ultimately generate outstanding results. INTERLINK stands out because of its supportive, knowledgeable, and approachable management team.

I have truly seen that the extensive experiences of the INTERLINK staff combined with the motivation and skillsets of the students provides an exciting degree of possibility for what teachers can implement and what students can accomplish.

I have enjoyed my fifteen years here at INTERLINK for a variety of reasons. First of all, the staff has consistently been one of the most professional and collegial groups of people anyone could ask to work with. Additionally, the flexibility of the curriculum allows for teacher creativity in the classroom which better meets the needs of the students. Foremost, I appreciate the fact that the program is indeed student-centered. The focus remains on the students as they deal with academic, cultural, and personal situations. As students often note after they graduate, INTERLINK is a family with many caring individuals.

The environment at INTERLINK really encourages professional growth. At first, I was overwhelmed by the idea of creating lessons from scratch, but my colleagues were ready to share and discuss ideas. Looking back, I have become more adaptable as a teacher and, along the way, I have learned to be more responsive to students’ needs and feedback.

As I reflect back on my experience, joining INTERLINK was a great decision for me and my family. I have nothing but positive things to say about INTERLINK management and faculty. INTERLINK’s curriculum is unique and allows for instructor autonomy. The instructors working for INTERLINK are qualified and dedicated to their craft. The management team and support staff do everything in their power to help with new instructor transition, professional development and even maintenance on the accommodations. In addition, the faculty go out of their way to help new instructors adapt and align themselves to the INTERLINK curriculum. The instructional coordinators work closely to help instructors develop as professionals and the director and assistant director are an integral part of the process. I would highly recommend INTERLINK to anyone considering teaching in the Middle East.

INTERLINK has been a great environment for me to grow as a relatively new language instructor. The flexible curriculum has given me plenty of room to try new ways to address our learners’ needs, and the support from other teachers has been invaluable in my development.

Working for INTERLINK has been an amazing experience. The supportive, approachable team, nurturing environment, and unique nature of the program are among the many things that make this institute stand out. INTERLINK places special emphasis on teachers’ continuous professional development. There are plenty of opportunities for us to grow and thrive here, and peer collaboration is an integral part of the program. This is a place where learning never ceases to happen, a place where I’ve grown both personally and professionally.

What I really like about teaching at INTERLINK is flexibility. I’m not tied to a strict textbook or endless grammar drills. I have the freedom to adapt and tweak materials to see what works best for my students at any given time. It gives me a chance to explore language in different contexts and help learners see how language is used in real-life and academic settings. The project-based work has been a highlight for me— it keeps lessons interesting, and the students are far more engaged when they’re working on something real.
