INTERLINK SPU’s Director, Tim Healy, had the exciting chance to sign a Memorandum of Understanding last week to express a common mission with Dr. Ryuen Hiramatsu from the University of East Asia. UEA is located in Shimonoseki, Japan, where Dr. Hiramatsu is an associate professor, the Executive Director of Public Relations and International Affairs, and the Deputy Executive Director of the ASEAN Center. After signing the MoU, the two toured INTERLINK facilities and stopped in to meet Dr. Caroline Maurer, the Director of Global Engagement at Seattle Pacific University.
