Dr. Nebila Dhieb-Henia, Director of Saudi INTERLINK (SILC) and Regional Director for the American Consortium of Universities (ACU) represented ACU at EduTrac, one of Oman’s largest higher education, training and career exhibitions. EduTrac serves as a multi-sector recruitment event for approximately 150 universities, centers, ministries, and other agencies to provide an opportunity for students, graduates, professional development seekers, and career trainers/trainees to meet with admission officers, career counselors, and university representatives.
From September 22nd – 24th, Dr. Dhieb-Henia met with high school graduates from Omani’s elite schools who are considering study abroad as well as key Omani educators and administrators in recruitment agencies, higher education institutions, and government.
Despite the competition from a very large and well-represented group of institutions from the UK, other European countries, Asia, and Australia, the US continues to remain an attraction for most students.
